SoGoCity, another place for OTCR

Charles Brady has created a great online community for Southern Gospel lovers, called Southern Gospel City, or SoGoCity. We were one of the earlier participants, and we think it's a great idea.

Many artists have submitted music to OTCR over the past few years. For that we are very appreciative.

We wanted to take this opportunity to list some of the things that OTCR offers to artists who submit their music to our station:

1. Their music played several times per month on our rotation playlists. We play most if not all cuts from most CDs we receive
2. The name of the artist or group listed on our website Welcome Page for two or more weeks
3. The CD that is submitted listed on our Music Submissions page
4. A link to the artists' website listed on our Recommended Links page
5. A possible selection as our Artist of the Month
6. The artist name and song title displayed in the LoudCity and Winamp player window for the listener's view

Happy Goodman Family CDs

As some of you may know, I am a big fan of remastered CDs, which many times are older LPs that have been digitized. Several artists have reissued their LPs in the form of CDs in the past few years. We have a page with some of these artists' CDs listed. (See Artist Pages Link above)

Well, we have found another goldmine of classic Southern Gospel music remastered on CDs. Rick Goodman and the folks at Goodman Family Ministries have reissued several of the vintage Happy Goodman Family albums. In addition, they have several of the later Goodman Family and Vestal Goodman CDs available.
